Indian wrestlers have performed remarkably well in the International Wrestling Tournament held in Sassari City (Italy). A total of four Indian wrestlers have clinched gold medals for their country in the international competition and this has cheered up their national fans. It has to be added here that the extraordinary performances put forward by the Indian wrestlers have been able to garner acclamation in the international platform as well. Yogeshwar Dutt has created a new milestone by remaining undefeated in the whole tournament.

All four Indian wrestlers wrestled in Men's Freestyle category basing on their respective weights. Yogeshwar competed in the 65kg division in the tournament and constantly scored the highest score to be in the final and then bag the gold medal. Another Indian wrestler, Praveen Rana won gold in 70kg category.

The other two wrestlers making India proud are Amit Kumar and Narsingh Yadav, who finished with gold in the 57kg and 74kg categories, respectively.

The last few competitions played by Yogeshwar has shown, the player making great performances and possessing a great chance of bagging glory for the nation in the Rio Olympics. Notewrotthy that Yogeshwar has won gold in all four tournaments he has taken part so far. It is in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and Incheon Asian Games in 2014 where as well, Yogeshwar has won a gold medal each.

There were two other Indian wrestlers too took part in the International Wrestling Tournament, namely, Mausum Khatri (97kg) and Hitender (125kg) who could not succeed in their mission.
