Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recorded his statement in the blackbuck poaching case at a Jodhpur court on Friday.
Actors Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam, and Tabu recorded their respective statements in the court.
Salman Khan rejected all allegations levelled against him, sources said. “This case is a cooked-up case. I am innocent,” Khan was quoted as saying.
He is accused of killing two blackbucks in Jodhpur's Kankani area and Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu and Sonali Bendre were said to be with him at the time of the alleged killings of the protected animal on September 26, 1998. Thet were shooting for the film “Hum Saath Saath Hain” in Jodhpur during the time.
Salman has already been acquitted in the Arms Act case and two separate cases of chinkara killings.
