Veteran Vinod Khanna has died at the age of 70 on Thursday. He was said to be suffering from cancer. 
Vinod, who was a sitting Bharatiya Janata Party MP from the Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab, was admitted to Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Girgaon, Mumbai, in the first week of April.
A photo of him with his son and wife went viral during his stay at the hospital. Khanna look extremely weak and frail in the photo which his many fans getting concerned for his health.
The actor, often called one of the most handsome men in the industry, debuted in 1968 with Mann Ka Meet and featured in films like Mere Apne, Insaaf and Amar Akbar Anthony.

He was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale (2015). 
He received the Filmfare award in the best supporting actor category for Haath Ki Safaai in 1975, and in 1999 he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award.
Several industry figures, politicians, and admirers paid respects on Twitter.
