A team of Dibrugarh police has again seized around 1,175 answer scripts from the strong room of Assam Public Service Commission office in Khanapara, Guwahati on Tuesday evening.

The seized answer scripts would be verified and sent for forensic examination, police officials said.

Led by Additional Superintendents of Police Surjeet Singh Panesar, the team of Dibrugarh police carried out the operation at the APSC office and seized the answer scripts of all 241 candidates who had secured jobs by paying huge amounts of money mostly in APSC combined competitive examination, 2015.

On the other hand, police had summoned Rajarshi Sen Deka (son of Nilamani Sen Deka), Pallavi Sarma Choudhury, Himangsu Choudhury, Dipak Khanikar, Kamal Debnath, Kunal Das, Badarul Islam Choudhury, Anirudha Roy, Nishamoni Deka, Debojit Bora, Rumi Saikia, Gitali Doley, Daithun Borgayari, Jatindra Prasad Baruah, Jayanta Kumar Nath, Rakesh Gupta, Sabira Imran, Dilip Kumar Kalita, Harsha Jyoti Bora, Sunayana Aideu, Barun Purakayashtha, Amarjit Das, Sudipta Goswami Bhattacharya, Raju Saha and Jyotirmoy Adhikary of 2015 batch in the multi-crore-rupees cash-for-job scam in the APSC on May 5.

They have been called to the guest house of 4th Assam Police Battalion, Kahilipara in Guwahati, where investigating team will collect the hand writing samples of them and carry the interrogation.

Police carried out the seize operation from 11 AM to 11 PM for 12 hours by verifying each answer scripts of the candidates.

Earlier, 3 ACS officers Bhaskarjyoti Devsarma, Amritjyoti Sarma and Bhaskar Dutta Das of 2015 batch have been arrested in connection with the case. It has been seen that, zero tolerance against corruption by Sarbananda Sonowal has been helping in the investigation process.

Rakesh Paul led APSC had selected 241 candidates for the state civil service in 2015, of which 90 candidates for ACS, 60 candidates for APS and the rest for various other official posts.

Dibrugarh Police had seized 990 answer scripts from the strong room of the APSC office on May 18 in connection with the multi-crore-rupees cash-for-job scam.
