2004 Dhemaji Blast Verdict Postponed To July 4

The bereaved families of the victims of the 2004 Dhemaji blast have to wait for some more days as the verdict is likely to be postponed to July 4, following the demise of an advocate, who was related to the case.

Ghanshyam Lahon, the advocate of four of the convicts of the Dhemaji blast case died in a car crash in the wee hours of Thursday.

The infamous blast took place during Independence Day celebration in 2004, where at least 13 people were killed and most of the victims were schoolchildren aged between 12 and 14.
