In yet another search operation against the drug menace in Assam, the state police have seized a large consignment of illegal marijuana (ganja).
Around 22 kilogrammes of ganja worth 18 lakh rupees were recovered in Joraguri of Dergaon. The ganja was smuggled from Myanmar.
In this connection, Bitumoni Hazarika was apprehended. The ganja was found buried in parts of his house.
