In the wake of a recruitmentscam in the Health Department of the state, the government on Monday sacked 53employees who had secured jobs through fraudulent means.
The Health Department of Lakhimpur has terminated theservices of 53 class IV employees including surveillance workers as they hadmanaged to get the jobs through fraudulent means and by forging documents,sources said.
They were recruited between 2005 to 2017; the issue came to light after a thorough investigation by health department scanning committee.
