55th Femina Miss India World 2018 crown goes to Anukreethy Vas

Anukreethy Vas from Tamil Nadu has been crowned the 55th Femina Miss India World 2018 on Tuesday. The winner had been declared at an event held in Mumbai's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium.

Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar awarded her the winning crown. Anukreethy will now represent India at this year's Miss World.

Haryana's Meenakshi Chaudhary has bagged the first runner-up crown and Shreya Rao Kamavarapu of Andhra Pradesh has been adjudged the second runner-up.

The panel of judges comprised of Manushi Chhillar, cricketers Irfan Pathan and Lokesh Rahul and actors Malaika Arora, Bobby Deol and Kunal Kapoor.

The nineteen year old Miss India is a student of Chennai's Loyola College, pursuing B.A. in French. The just-crowned Miss India World 2018 wishes to become a supermodel.
