The 7th edition of theBrahmaputra Valley Film Festival (BVFF) will begin today at 5 PM at PragjyotiITA Centre in Machkhowa. The film festival will continue till September 29.
Pratim D Gupta directed ShantilalO Projapoti Rohosyo will be the opening film and T for Tajmahaldirected by Kireet Khurana will be the closing film of the four-day event,informed organising committee.
A total of 33 films will bescreened at the BVFF, out of which, 15 short films have been selected as top 15from 300 short films that were received for the competition. Acclaimeddirectors, film critiques, actors and film enthusiasts are likely to cometogether at the BVFF.
