Veteranactress Vidya Sinha passed away on Thursday at the age of 71 at a Mumbaihospital. She was reportedly suffering from a brief lung-cum-heart ailment.Sinha was best-known for her breakthrough 1974 film Rajnigandha, co-starringAmol Palekar.
Accordingto reports, she was admitted to a Mumbai hospital on Sunday after she sufferedfrom severe breathing problems. Sinha was put on a ventilator but failed torecover and died around 1 pm.
Atthe age of 18, she began her career as a model. Vidya Sinha was best-known forher performances in Chhoti Si Baat, Pati Patni Aur Woh. She alsofeatured in several television shows such as Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, QuboolHai and Kavyanjali.
She issurvived by her daughter Jhanvi.
