After a dismal home game against Odisha, Assam will look to bounce back – Assam vs Haryana : Preview

Assam will lock horns with Haryana in Round 4 in the Elite Group C of Ranji Trophy 2018-19 tomorrow in another home game. Assam had a forgettable last game against Odisha. Odisha dominated throughout in spite of Assam being the home team and won convincingly by 9 wickets. Haryana, on the other hand must be on a high after their resounding win in the 3rd Round against Goa by 143 runs. Haryana is currently placed 4th in the table while Assam is at 6th place.

Assam has a lot of loose ends to tie up with batting being the major one. The Assam batsmen had an epic failure in the last game with scores of 121 and 132 respectively in both the innings. None except Sibsankar Roy looked in any sort of form whatsoever. The batsmen will need to get their act together big time. A few changes are expected; however it will be interesting to see if they can get the right combination together in this all important game.
