After CCI, The Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) has removed photographs of Pakistani cricketers from the Mohali Stadium on Sunday as a protest against the heinous attack by Pakistan sponsored Jaish-e-Mohammad militants on the CRPF jawans to show solidarity with the families of martyrs of the Pulwama terror attack.

The moves comes three days after a suicide bomber attack on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama, deadliest in the Valley.

Nearly 15 photos of Pakistani cricketers including that of present Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, former Captain Shahid Afridi, Javed Miandad and Wasim Akram which were kept inside the stadium at various points including in the galleries, long room, reception and 'hall of fame' area.

Pakistan under the captaincy of Shahid Afridi faced a 29-run defeat at India's hands in the 2011 World Cup cricket semi-finals which was played here in March.

Earlier on Sunday the Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai covered the portrait of former Pakistan cricket captain and current Prime Minister of the country, Imran Khan, on Saturday.
