An AGPleader of Karbi Anglong was allegedly involved in rhino poaching incidents,revealed Karbi Anglong police sources on Saturday. The Karbi Anglong Police on Saturdaynabbed two rhino poachers along with rhino horns from Diphu.
The rhinopoachers have been identified as Paban Engleng and Bimal Engleng. However, boththe poachers have stated that they have been working under one Sukursing Teran,who is said to be a local AGP leader.
Reportedly,Teran is the Finance Secretary of Karbi Anglong AGP and unsuccessfullycontested the last KAAC election.
