Aishwarya Pissay bags first world title in motorsports for India

Creating history, Aishwarya Pissay became the first Indian to win a world title in motorsports by winning the FIM World Cup ( Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) in the women's category.

The finals of the championship had been held at Varpalota in Hungary.

The 23-year old woman, who hails from Bengaluru also finished second in the FIM Junior category on Monday.

Aishwarya finished with a tally of 65 points, just four ahead of Portugal's Rita Vieira in the final overall standings for women.
