The Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) has observeda three-hour sit-in demonstration programme statewide in protest against thedilapidated road condition of Assam.
The AJYCP, Barama unit has staged the agitation as per theinstruction of the regional committee to protest against the dilapidated roadcondition of Barama and in demand to solve the local problems in the area whichthe people are facing since decades.
Moreover, the Bihpuria unit of AJYCP has also staged the sit-indemonstration demanding restoration of roads in the area. The AJYCP has alsosubmitted a memorandum to the Bihpuria revenue circle officer and the ChiefMinister of Assam demanding repairing work of the Narayanpur-Bihpuria Dongibeelconnecting road.
The AJYCP has also observed the demonstration programme in different parts of the state like Charaideo, Dhemaji, Kalaigaon, Mayong, Merapani, Numaligarh, Amguri, Teok and Beltola in Guwahati.
The AJYCP has observed the statewide protest demanding immediaterepairing of the dilapidated roads in the state and also demanded to solve thelocal problems of the area where the protest has been taken place.
