The Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) has observed a three-hour sit-in demonstration programme statewide in protest against the dilapidated road condition of Assam.
The AJYCP, Barama unit has staged the agitation as per the instruction of the regional committee to protest against the dilapidated road condition of Barama and in demand to solve the local problems in the area which the people are facing since decades.
Moreover, the Bihpuria unit of AJYCP has also staged the sit-in demonstration demanding restoration of roads in the area. The AJYCP has also submitted a memorandum to the Bihpuria revenue circle officer and the Chief Minister of Assam demanding repairing work of the Narayanpur-Bihpuria Dongibeel connecting road.
The AJYCP has also observed the demonstration programme in different parts of the state like Charaideo, Dhemaji, Kalaigaon, Mayong, Merapani, Numaligarh, Amguri, Teok and Beltola in Guwahati.
The AJYCP has observed the statewide protest demanding immediate repairing of the dilapidated roads in the state and also demanded to solve the local problems of the area where the protest has been taken place.
