Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) Chief Akhil Gogoi on Thursday alleged that Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has contempted the court. The allegation has been made based on Himanta's comment on the court today.
Addressingthe media, Akhil said that he won one case earlier and therefore, Himanta hadmade weird comment in the court today.
Akhilalso said that the court should file a suo moto case against Himanta or elseKMSS will file a case against him.
Commentingon the Burmese supari laden truck which was seized in Jalukbari, Akhil saidthat the police allow the trucks to pass by thinking that there it has GST. Akhilurged the DGP and Commissioner of Police that they should not allow the trucksto pass adding that it was proved that Kamrup SP Partha Sarathi Mahanta isinvolved in the Supari syndicate as the trucks are being passed from Changsarito Baihata and vice-versa.
Healso said that the serial news published by Pratidin group against the suparisyndicate has been proved right.
Akhilfurther demanded that the government should hand over the supari syndicateinvestigation to NIA.
