Akhil blasts Sonowal, Samujjal, Himanta

The KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi today blasted Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal accusing him manipulating the emotion of Assamese people on the citizenship bill while silently pushing for the controversial bill. He also targeted Samujall Bhattacharrya for being silent and Himanta Biswa Sharma for losing the special status of Assam.

Mr Gogoi blsted several incidents of the last few months how the Chief Ministers twisted the situation exploiting the emotion of the ordinary people as well as Editors of Assam's media.

Citing yesterday's statement of Ram Madhab in a seminar , where he announced Hindu Bangladeshis would be given Indian Citizenship Mr Gogoi pointed that Mr Sonowal was present at the conference but remained silent.

Akhil Gogoi dared the Chief Minister to spell his stand on the Assam Accord while alleging that BJP and Assam government had silently made blueprint to provide citizenship to 1 crore 90 lakh illegal Hindu's in Assam.

He further alleged Sarbananda Sonowal only aim was to stay in power ignoring the prime issues of the state. He also accused AASU Chief Advisor Samujjal Bhattacharya and AGP leaders of remaining silent on the issue.

He did not spare Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma too ,and said it was during BJP's regime Assam lost its special state status.
