Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio has recently announced that all the Jio customers will have to buy IUC top-up vouchers to make outgoing voice calls to any other mobile services. As per the announcement, the Jio users will have to pay 6 paise per minute for making outgoing calls to other mobile networks.
Jio’s new recharge plan
Reliance Jio’s recharge voucher for making voice calls begins from ₹10 and goes up to ₹100. Users can buy any of the vouchers depending on their requirements. However, Jio has given free data with the respective vouchers.
The Rs. 10 voucher gives users 124 minutes of non-Jio talk-time while the Rs. 100 voucher gives the users 1,362 minutes of talk-time.
It may be mentioned here that these top-ups, which do not come with an expiry date, will remain valid till the time you consume the talk-time.
Meanwhile, the Jio users, who recharged on or before October 9 will be exempt from voice call charges till the time their recharge plan expires.
