AN 32: 18 rescuers go missing

Notraces of the eighteen rescuers were found till Tuesday evening, who went insearch of the missing AN 32 flight of Indian Air Force (IAF).

As perthe reports, the 18 members of the rescue team sent to recover the remaining ofthe IAF crew and passenger after the detection of crash site on last Tuesdayare stranded at the tough terrine of Peri hills since Thursday. There is noconcrete information about where they might be camping right night. In lastthree days helicopter sortie to the crash site is being halted by the rain andcloud.

Earlier, the 18 rescuers had recovered the mortal remains of the air warriors along with the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) at the AN-32 crash site on June 14.

Meanwhile, another team, comprising commandos of IAF, member of Special Forces of the Indian Army and civilian porters, is on its way to the crash site on foot and is likely to reach the site on June 19.
