Job aspirants alleged anomalies in the examination conducted by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) on Friday. The job aspirants also created ruckus at the examination venue in Maligaon, Guwahati. Police and CRPF personnel were deployed at the examination center to bring the situation under control.
“The ONGC could not conduct the examination on time, which was scheduled to begin at 12 PM. Some of the computers used in the online examination have also become non-functional,” said a candidate.
The candidates also shouted slogans against the ONGC and demanded clarification regarding the matter from higher authorities. Later, the ONGC officials assured the candidates of taking required measures regarding the issues. Similar anomalies were also reported in other examination centers in the city.
