Congress MP including Gaurav Gogoi, Pradyut Bordoloi and Ripun Bora have staged the protest in front of the Parliament by holding play cards in their hands against the privatization of NRL and BPCL.

The protestors said that they will not accept the government’s decision of privatizing the age-old refinery in the state. “NRL is attached emotionally with the people of Assam and that it is the backbone of the state’s economy. We can’t accept the decision of the government to privatize BPCL and NRL,” said APCC President Ripun Bora.
