Arunachal All Set to Celebrate Ziro Music Festival
The state of Arunachal Pradesh is all set to celebrate the eighth edition of Ziro Music Festival starting September 26 and to conduct the festival peacefully a coordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner Chukhu Takar at Ziro.
During the course of the meeting, issues pertaining to security, law and order, traffic management, curbing drug menace, fire services and regulations of campsites, food safety registration etc. were discussed in detail.
DC Takar said that they want all the tourists to feel safe and enjoy their stay at Ziro during the ZMF which shall require the cooperation of all the stakeholders.
Town Magistrate Bamin Tarang, while reviewing the security arrangements said that a temporary police beat office shall be set up in the vicinity of the ZMF ground to tackle any untoward incident.
He further stated that the festival committee shall also arrange sufficient volunteers for security and traffic management to add to the arrangements of the district administration.
Tarang stated that as more than 25 campsites have been set up to accommodate the tourists, it is necessary to regulate and monitor these sites.
The official further added that the owners of the campsites shall register their camps with the DTO office and also provide the list of campers to the office.
