“In the words of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, my tributes to the architect of Bor Asom, Swargadeo Chaolung Sukapha on #AsomDiwas”, CM Sonowal tweeted.

Chaolung Sukapha, the founder of the Ahom kingdom reigned from 1228 to 1268 AD, had set up the 600-year-old Ahom kingdom in Upper Assam.
