The state of Assam on Sunday recorded 25 new coronavirus related cases. The new cases were detected out of 7,996 tests conducted with the positivity rate at 0.31%.
Meanwhile, 29 cured patients were discharged today, pushing the recovery rate to 98.11%, National Health Mission (NHM) Assam reported.
So far, the total caseload of the state has touched 2,16,590.
One death was reported today. The death tally of the state now stood at 0.49% with 1,061 cases.
