The state of Assam reported 29 new COVID cases on Friday in Assam, while 70 patients were discharged today. The total number of cases in the state now stands at 2,17,120.
The active caseload has reduced to 567. The recoveries have touched 2,14,124 with 98.62 percent.
One death was reported today, the tally of which has reached 1,082.
Meanwhile, the vaccination process is underway and so far 38, 106 have taken COVID jabs.
