Assam registered eight more positive cases of COVID-19 on Thursday evening taking the state's tally to 199.
"Alert ~ Eight persons found #COVID19 positive – 3 fromKokrajhar; 2 from Sivasagar; 2 from Dhubri; 1 from Dibrugarh."; this wasinformed by health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma through his twitter handle.
With the eight new cases, the active cases in Assam now stand at 138, recovered-54, deaths-4, and migrated-3.
