Assam boy creates new Guinness record on Rubik Cube


Over the years, competitions have been held to see who could solve the Rubik’s Cube the fastest by hand.

This time, an Assam boy studying in IISc, Bangalore has created new Guinness record on Rubik Cube. Assam boy Nabarun Deka (Right hand) and Yash Mehta (Left hand) studying in the same Institute (Indian Institute of Science (IISc.) have managed to solve the Rubik’s cube in 16.33 seconds. Nabarun Deka is from Guwahati.

The duo broke the Guinness World Record for ‘The Fastest Time to Solve a 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube as a Team of Two’ on Saturday.

The previous record was 18.31 seconds. The IISc students attempted this record on during ‘Pravega, IISc.’s science fest’ held in Malleshwaram West Bengaluru, Karnataka.
