Assam on Monday reported 3,804 fresh cases of the deadly contagion – coronavirus with a positivity rate of 3.06 percent.
The active caseload of the state is 48,672. 37 deaths have been reported, while, 4,613 cured patients were discharged.
The districts that have reported the highest cases are Karmup Metro (318), Tinsukia (315), Cachar (311), and Dibrugarh (281). 1,24,316 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
Today's deaths have been registered from Cachar (4), Dibrugarh (4), Jorhat (4), Hojai (3), Morigaon (3), Bongaigaon (2), Kamrup Metro (2), Kokrajhar (2), Lakhimpur (2), Sonitpur (2), Baksa (1), Kamrup Rural (1), Charaideo (1), Darrang (1), Golaghat (1), Tinsukia (1), and Sivasagar (1).
The total deaths have climbed to 3,695 with a death rate of 0.84 per cent, while, the total recoveries of the state has touched 3,85,032 with a recovery rate of 87.76 per cent.
The overall count of the state is 4,38,746.
