On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary on October 2, government employees of Assam will receive 'Khadi' clothes from the government tomorrow to mark Gandhi Jayanti celebrations.
Initially, 100 employees will receive khadi t-shirts under a programme organised by the Assam Khadi & Village Industries Board on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
In the near future, other government employees will also receive khadi t-shirts from the government, Assam Khadi & Village Industries Board informed.
On the occasion, female employees will also receive stoles and shawls at the same programme.
