The legislature party of Assam Congress on Monday alleged that the Assam government has included an additional expense of Rs. 2600 crore in the budget.
Addressing a press conference here today, the legislative party of Congress said that the BJP-led government in Assam has not given chance to discuss Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report in the ongoing monsoon Assam Assembly on Monday. The party claims that they want to discuss the CAG report but they have not been given a chance in the Assembly for which they left the assembly.
The Congress wants zero hour discussion on the CAG report. The party also alleged that the government has interrupted the discussion so that they could cover their failure.
The party further alleged that the government has made extra expense in the budget without the consent of the legislature. It further said that 30,000 crore of rupees remain untouched and that according to the report of CAG, the budget is fake.
