Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi cast his vote at a polling booth at his home constituency in Delhi on Sunday. He along with his wife cast their votes at the C4E polling station in Janakpuri LP School of West Delhi constituency.

Governor Jagdish Mukhi has remained a Delhi voter, though usually a Governor of a State in the country enumerates his name in the State he heads. Earlier, he served as the Minister of Finance, Planning, Excise & Taxation and Higher Education in the Delhi government.

Speaking to media, the Assam Governor asked people to exercise their franchise in the “festival of democracy”.

BJP’s Parvesh Verma is contesting against AAP’s Balbir Jakhar and Congress’ Mahabal Mishra from the West Delhi constituency.
