Mission Basundhara has been inaugurated at the Madhavdev International Auditorium on Saturday in Guwahati in presence of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Minister Jogen Mohan and other dignitaries.
This scheme has been introduced by the government to facilitate the services of Disaster Revenue Management Department of the state.

The website will facilitate the people through fast services for land document upgradation, registration for inheritance of property will and documents, division of property without dispute, change of land class etc.
CM Sarma said that online facility will be beneficial to the people as well as to the government.
He further said that since Assam was reluctant to technology in the past, these things seemed to be very difficult. He also gave the example how thousands of youtyh have applied for registration on Employment exchange through the online portal link.
CM Sarma said, "In a democracy, it's not about the people in power to be happy, but the people who needs to be happy."
Further, he also promised Rs. 1 crore for the repair and reconstruction of damaged offices.
Minister Jogen Mahanta was also present at the inauguration event of the Mission Basundhara scheme today.
The minister said that this is a dream scheme . He further said that land is not just a right but it's an honour for people.
"Though Mission Basundhara, I will be working in 9 points," said Minister Jogen Mohan.
He further informed that Circle officer, Lat Mandal, Gaonburha have already been trained and all facilities for working peacefully has been given by the government.
Further, the minister added that through this scheme the people will be benefited and the government will help in every possible way.
