The Assam government to act strictly against illegal encroachment in government land. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday instructed Kamrup (M) Deputy Commissioner Biswajit Pegu to prepare the list who have illegally encroached the government land.
In a meeting held with Revenue Minister Jogen Mohan, the chief minister instructed the DC to prepare the list of the illegal encroachers after discussing the issue with the minister.
Minister Jogen Mohan said that the encroachers will be evicted soon after preparing the list and a notice will also be issued to them before the eviction drive would be carried out.
