The Assam Revenue department will soon start a pilot project to rectify property (land) registration documents. The property will be registered using Aadhar Card. The department will go ahead for land survey in various places in the state of Assam.
MIS- a new system to be applied for monitoring the process of patta authorization (document for land ownership), if the department fails to provide land patta on time, the concerned officer in the department may face show-cause or disciplinary action.

The department will soon start a revision to set the land value as, since 1960, the revision process hadn't been continued. A training program will be held for the revenue department officials in this regard.
