A delegation of the Assam government have embarked on ‘Sankalp Yatra’ – an eight-day visit to Bangladesh and Myanmar. Starting from June 26, the visit will come to an end on July 04.
It is under the leadership of Transport Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary that a delegation of 10 MLAs and 12 government officials will be part of the visit.
Speaking to the media, Patowary said that the Yatra is being undertaken under the banner of ‘Advantage Assam’ and that it will benefit the Northeast along with Assam.
The Yatra is also set to bring good results in the field of industries, commerce and investment, he added.
