Abhishek Gogoi, the national record-holder para-cyclist has clinched silver medal in cycling (10 KM time trial) at Special Olympic 2019 held at Abu Dhabi.
Gogoi is the only contestant to represent Assam and NE in the prestigious international event – as per reports.
This 18-year-old achiever is struggling to raise funds for buying a bicycle and other necessary equipment for competing in the Special Olympic Games.
Earlier, Abhishek secured the first position in both the 5-kilometre time trial and 10-kilometre time trial events at the Cycling NCC-cum-National Championship.
