Assam Police has gone through a thorough shuffling on Thursday. Many of the officials have been promoted and some promoted as well as transferred.
38 Police officials have been promoted as well as transferred.
Among the 38 officials, Jalukbari ACP Ponjit Dowerah has been promoted to the post of ADCP (C).
Panbazar ACP Suprotiv Lal Baruah has been promoted as well as transferred to the post of SDO Battalion's Deputy Commandant in Mandakatar.
Chandmari ACP Bidyut Das Bodo has also been promoted and transferred to the post of SDO Battalion's Deputy Commandant in Mandakatar.
And Noonmati ACP Purabi Mazumdar has been promoted to the post of ASP, Darrang.
