Assam Police has set out an intense operation against Hizbul Mujahideen in the state, being especially alert in Hojai.
Police launched a raid at Kamruz's residence on Saturday night. His brother, Saiful Islam has been detained for interrogation.
Lanka police had raided various areas at night along with the residence of Saidur Alam, who has been arrested for allegedly being involved with the Hizbul Mujahideen. This operation was launched in Udali's Jaroni Gaon.
It may be noted that as per reports, during the search operation, police has been able to cease two mobile phones along with 1 lakh 28 thousand rupees.
As of now three have been detained while one has been arrested for allegedly being involved with Hizbul Mujahideen.
