The Assam government has a commitment to impart quality education to the students who are the pillars of the future nation. But, in reality, the motive of the state government to provide quality education may not have gone well.
The Jyoti Kendra Siksha Karmi (JKSK) staged a demonstration in front of the Headquarter of Axom Sarva Siksha Abhijan Mission, Kahilipara in Guwahati on Thursday protesting against the poor quality of study materials and uniform supplied to the students under SSA.
The factors that contribute to poor quality education andcare for children are many and varied. It is generally not one particularaspect of the service that results in poor quality, but a combination offactors that have a negative effect on children's learning.
They alleged that they were provided with low-quality uniforms, study materials. They wanted the government to provide standard quality uniforms to students of all government schools.
