Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Saturday that as many as 4,814 COVID-19 patients have been cured so far, bringing the recovery rate up to 69.57%.
The number of samples being tested every day also continues to grow. The total number of samples tested thus far is 3,74,519, the Minister stated.
With 10 fatalities and 3 migrations, the total number of active cases in Assam now stands at 2,092.
"Our compliments to the Health Department and @nhm_assam teams for having stepped up the #COVID19 testing. Today the test figures touched 374,519, which is 12,000 plus. Please remember, it is only active testing & tracing that shall help us to eventuality eliminate #coronavirus." Sarma wrote on Twitter
