Assam & Tripura To be Worse Affected with CAB: KMSS
Reacting on Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s stand on Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB), Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) chief Akhil Gogoi said that their prediction was right.
Amit Shah on Saturday said that CAB will be implemented in the states other than the 6th schedule area and inner line permit area. Reacting to it KMSS chief said with the implementation of CAB Assam and Tripura will be loaded with foreigners adding that this condition will not be accepted.
Gogoi said that another lure will come from Delhi and that lure has been taken to Delhi by the state government.
Gogoi said, “Himanta Biswa Sarma said that 5-6 lakhs of foreigners will come once CAB will be implemented but that is not true. With the implementation of CAB, 20 lakhs people will grant citizenship and around 1 crore 70 lakhs people will enter Assam in the future.”
He further stated that the Constitution of India will be violated once CAB will be implemented in the state adding that they won’t accept CAB in any circumstances.
He also appealed to the people not to accept the conditions of the BJP who went to Delhi adding that if the Hindus are assaulted in Bangladesh then Prime Minister Narendra Modi should stop this with social power by sending army personnel.
