The Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2016 (CAB) which will be passed in the Lok Sabha today, had stirred a chaotic situation both in Delhi and Dispur.
People across the state have been agitated due to BJP'S firm stand to pass the Bill no matter what and that the Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal, who was given the title of 'Jatiya Nayak', did not stand with his people against the Centre's will opposing CAB.
However, AIUDF MP Badaruddin Ajmal smells a conspiracy behind the 'Jatiya Nayak' turning to a 'Khalnayak'.
Ajmal speaking to Pratidin Time in an exclusive interview said, "The entire panic situation in Assam is due to Himanta Biswa Sarma".
"The bringing in of the Bill to grant ST status to six ethnic communities of Assam is nothing but a knee-jerk situation and the master mind behind all these is no one but Himanta", said the MP.
Ajmal has also alleged that it was Himanta, who in order to mull ties with the Centre, paved the path to pass the Bill and portray Sarbananda Sonowal as the villain of Assam. It is a plan concocted by Himanta to dispense the 'Jatiya Nayak' to clear his path to become the next Chief Minister in the upcoming Elections, added the MP.
Therefore, by these actions of the Central government, CAB will also be implemented, ST status will also be granted to six ethnic communities and people will again restore their faith on the BJP and the price of the conspiracy is being paid by 'Jatiya Nayak' Sarbananda Sonowal who has been portrayed into a 'Khalnayak'.
