Himanta Biswa Sarma, today inaugurated Situ Cement Treated Sub-Base by Soil Stabilizer Technology for ₹ 90.37 cr 55-km road from Dokmoka to Laharijan on NH-36 in Karbi Anglong in presence of Sri Sum Ronghang, Chief Executive, Sri Tuliram Ronghang.
For sustainable roads construction a new technology called in-situ stabilization or CTBS (cement-treated sub-base) which enables recycling & reuse of existing road materials by mixing it with cement. This saves the need for aggregates, mined from natural resources.
