Several youths from Assam have been forcefully inducted into ISIS.
This has come to the light after a Garigaon youth called his family from an undisclosed location in Jammu & Kashmir.
As per the victim's family, the youth was taken to Delhi by one person named Papu from Rangia promising him with a job.
"Today morning when we received the call, he was crying for help and said that some persons dressed in CRPF uniform were taking a group of 25 youths to some undisclosed location in Jammu & Kashmir. He also said that if Rangia's Papu is captured, then only they could be saved. He also uttered ISIS name and said that he along with others may be taken for the forceful induction in ISIS," informed a member from the victim's family.
It was further informed by the family that when they had gone to register an FIR at the Jalukbari PS, the police there demanded Rs 5 lakh from them.
The matter is being investigated.
