Popular Assamese singer Parvin Pori succumbed to the fatal coronavirus in Guwahati on Saturday morning.
The budding singer breathed her last at GNRC Hospital. She had tested positive two days ago.
Parvin also performed during Rongali Bihu this year.
Meanwhile, Parvin's father is also currently undergoing treatment for Covid-19 related complications.
