Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma taking to Twitter, said, Assam has recorded fresh 1088 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the State's active cases tally to 6815.
The total number of cases is 19754 and recovered cases stand at 12888. So far 48 deaths have been reported according to the data of the Death Audit Board.
