The Assam Legislative Assembly budget sessions will commence from January 28 to February 6. Governor of Assam Jagdish Mukhi will address the first day of the budget sessions.
On January 30 and February 1, the debates on the Motion of Thanks on the Governor's Address will be held.
On February 6, the presentation of the Budget estimates of the state government for the year 2019-2020 will be held .
Earlier, Mrigendra Kumar Deka, Principal Secretary of Assam Legislative Assembly said that he budget session could be held at the New Assam Legislative Assembly building complex.
