Before the final draft of NRC declared, Kamrup District administration had arranged a press meet on Tuesday in this regard.
Reportedly, the main point of discussion of today's press meet was all about the law and order situation which should be arisen after the declaration of the final draft of NRC. More than 200 members of Nagarik Samiti along with a few local organizations had taken part in this meeting.
Addressing the press meet, district administration had declared that police have been concerned about the social media users. They requested the locals of Assam not to react on the objectionable posts of Social Media.
It may be stated that, Kamrup District Students Union and the members of Nagarik samiti will take various steps to maintain the law and order situation.
