With the rising prices of petrol and diesel, Congress has called for Bharat Bandh on Monday. This move of the party has been supported by the leftist party CPI.
While supporting the cause of Bharat Bandh due to rise in prices of fuel, Congress leader Rakibul Hussain along with other party members held a protest in Nagaon, due to which police has detained the protestors.
Hussain along with the protestors have now been sent to Nagaon Reserve.
