BJP blames Congress for communal violence


The Assam Bharatiya Janat Party called a press conference at their Hengarabari Office on Saturday. Addressing the press conference state BJP state spokes person Rupam Goswami and BJP Minority Morcha Assam State President Mominul Awal said that the Congress is responsible for communal clashes in the state. They also alleged that Congress made separate statements at Barak and Brahmaputra Valley.

“Congress supports the bandh culture and they made many provocative remarks on Barak Valley against the Citizenship Amendment Bill. They have created an environment of instability by their instigating statements,” alleged Goswami.

Speaking about Opposition leader  Debabrat  Saikia the BJP leaders said, “Debabrat Saikia talks about syndicate, but syndicate starts from his lane”.

The leaders also assured that the BJP would take action against Hojai MLA Shiladitya Deb if found guilty.

They also said BJP didn’t support the bandh in Silchar.
